Great Food, but Coffee Could Use a Boost I visited this cafe when I was in Shillong and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was the star of the show—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Their homemade nachos is a must try and mexican platter was really good. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the positive vibe. However, the coffee fell a little short of expectations. While it wasn’t bad, it lacked the richness and depth I was hoping for. With so much focus on the food, I believe a bit more attention to the coffee would truly elevate the overall experience. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food and a warm atmosphere, Cherry Bean Café is worth a visit. Here’s hoping they fine-tune their coffee game to match the quality of their cuisine.

I came to Meghalaya from Bangladesh to travel the states. To be honest, this place and their staff changed my whole perspective. Food is one thing, but the humility and the behavior of the staff and the manager are so nice, I have never seen such nice people in cafes. The manager was a really nice person, looked over us, wanted to know the feedback of the food and even asked how our trip is going on. He took our photos, and those came out really nice. I mistakenly left my jacket but one of staff noticed, folded my jacket and gave it to me. Regarding food, I took the Basil Pesto Pasta as I'm a vegetarian. It was so good, thanks to the staff that suggested me this one. Wish I could give them six stars on Google maps.

I recently visited this beautiful cafe and was thoroughly impressed by their delicious vegetarian offerings and aesthetics of the cafe. The minestrone soup was hearty and flavourful , packed with fresh vegetables, making it a perfect comfort dish. The Mexican bowl was vibrant and filling, with well-seasoned ingredients that perfectly balanced flavor and texture. I also tried the corn cheese poppers, which were crispy on the outside and oozing with cheesy goodness inside—a delightful treat! My visit to this cafe was made even better by the great service from our server, Marina. She was friendly, attentive and had excellent recommendations. Overall, Cherry Bean offers an excellent variety of vegetarian dishes that are both satisfying and well-prepared. Great food and great service-highly recommend!

I recently visited Cherrry Bean Cafe in Shillong, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely chef’s kiss – flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. We had a delightful spread including chilli garlic noodles, strawberry mojito, peach iced tea, crispy chicken burger, peri peri chicken pizza, Alfredo chicken pasta, and their incredible herb-crusted chicken with pepperika sauce. Each bite was a burst of flavor and showed how much attention the chef puts into the details. The ambience of the cafe is cozy yet vibrant – warm lighting, tastefully done interiors, and relaxing music in the background made the evening feel just right. Whether you’re going on a casual dinner or a special outing, the vibe here fits perfectly. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive throughout our visit – very welcoming, quick with service, and always smiling. They made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything we ordered. From food to drinks to service to atmosphere, everything was on point. I’m already looking forward to going back. Anup and Hakini were the best in providing the services. Food was a 10/10 super delicious I recommend you trying Chilling on the Peach, Chicken Humus salad and Olio olio pasta. A great experience. Much recommended. ⭐

This is a damn good place. I tried Prawn cocktail and their specialty cranberry soda drink. Both were incredibly delicious. The service is as good as it could be. The place has a laid back vibe that stands out.
